SAT Math Prep

I provide the following SAT Prep for the math portion of the test:

  • SAT Math Tutoring (one-on-one)
  • Small Group SAT Math Classes (max 6 students)

In my SAT math prep students work extensively with the math portion of the 8 practice tests (these are 8 – 3 hour tests divided into 4 parts) that are available in the College Board’s The Official SAT Study Guide.  Mastering the material in these practice tests is the foundation of what students need to learn in order to score well on the SATs.

Doing SAT math prep helps students to remember, tie together, and connect mathematical concepts that they learned in bits and pieces over the course of their high school math career. Focused SAT math prep can can help students improve their foundational math skills and improve their scores on the test.

SAT Prep is better thought of as a 100 mile trail run, rather than a 50 meter sprint.  It is a good idea to start prepping well in advance.  Some SAT prep companies recommend a year of SAT prep.  This gives a student the opportunity for breaks, and the chance to cycle back to material that needs a second pass.

SAT Math Prep One-on-One Tutorials

SAT math prep tutorial rates are as follows:

  • $130 for a single 1 hour session
  • $120 per hour for 6 or more hours paid in advance

SAT Math Prep Classes

My small group SAT math prep classes (with 2 – 6 students)  provide a more cost-effective way to do SAT math review.

Classes are available on Saturdays during the school year and on weekdays during the summer break.

The cost is dependent on the number of students in the class.
